Please give us some feedback, after your visit. Very keen to give Riga a shot. Lots of cheap Ryanair offers, and cheap hotels. Looks like a cracking place

Riga is a cracking place. The market in old zeppelin hangars is a highlight for me, I bought some Elk there.

Cloud nine cocktail bar is worth a visit too

I went to Gdansk for £11 earlier in the year. That is highly recommended as a visit. Old town and the Solidarity museum are brill
Lovely apartments on Airbnb for £35 a night

We did the walking trip with a guide which was really worthwhile. Its free and you tip accodingly.
If you want to watch the footy there is a good pub in the centre next to an Indian restaurant. You can order a takeaway and scoff it in the bar of the pub.
