Latte Lath into double figures

He wasn't a bad lad and got the usual 15 a season. But, he cost a fortune, wasn't what could be called a "technical" player and often went missing during games.;)
Pretty fair assessment
If you look at stats not cost he had ok goal returns in his first three seasons with us, but he wasn't that great technically
I don't think Pulis did him any favours, and certainly prefer Britt as a person to him

You're joking? He wins headers and brings others into play. He's a cracking player. Only going to get better too.
I agree edinboro. His hold up play is good. He wins more than he should in the air given his size and he brings others into play. He has pace to burn, excellent movement, will run and press all game, I'm not sure what more people want from a striker?

We've had some dreadful strikers over the years. Latte Lath is a great signing and I can see a big season for him next season. The service to him is what needs to be improved.

No I’m not joking - as I’ve said earlier i think he’s a decent player to have but we need better if we can find someone. Would you honestly have said he had a great game today if he hadn’t scored. He had one fairly tame shot straight at the keeper before he scored but was pretty quiet other than that - i think he only touched the ball a couple of times in that first half

I’ve said all season that Latte Lath is not a finisher, and once again today he evidenced this. Went through one-on-one and didn’t look confident and produced a powderpuff effort. You wouldn’t bank on him.

However he has lots of qualities. Pace, quick turn, strong, and a great leap for someone not exactly tall. I’ve compared him to Sadio Mane all season long as he has the same qualities as him and would love him to have played as one of the players behind the striker all season. You could give him the ball and he has the ability to spin around, and have the pace to get away from a defender and draw defenders towards him which only Jones in the squad is able to do.

One of the few successes of our poor recruitment, although next season I would not want to see him continue alone up top.

I think Lathe could be a good player for us if he could get a good run of games without picking up an injury. He is quick and has a decent 1st touch but some of his finishing leaves a bit to be desired at the moment.

The chance he had in the 2nd half when he got in behind last man but then tamely hit a weak shot straight at the keeper was not good. His header was top notch though.

He needs the run of games so that he can learn to compose himself before hitting the shot. His instincts seem good but when he has time to think, I feel he gets a bit confused.

Bit spooky we were both basically typing the same thing at the same time

I don’t think he’s got the ability to play as a number ten - he seems to panic when he has time to think about things, as demonstrated quite often when he gets one on one with a keeper

He seems to have gone up a level since coming back from injury. Maybe sitting out he was able to observe and get a better understanding of what this league is about

Stopped reading at we needed better.

Ok so he’s no Chuba, but then no one was going to be, but whisper it quietly , he’s not looking half bad. Considering he’s had to deal with a complete change in language and culture and injuries haven’t helped, double figures isn’t a bad return. Next season let’s hope he hits the ground running.
Keep him floor and he’ll score 18+ league goals

Assombalonga was a nailed on 15+ striker every season, but according to some he was to blame for everything wrong in the modern world.
Well he checked out the last season and was an utter disgrace.

Assombalongas issues were that he had absolutely nothing in his locker to beat or even cause a problem for any half decent Cb.

48 matches against top 6 champo teams (including play offs vs villa) he drew a blank in 46 of those matches. He was a 2m striker truth be told
