He's not going to change formation !Not the first to suggest it but if we're sticking with the ridiculous formation I'd give them two a crack as a pairing ....
I just keel heading back to 3-5-2 though, the team picks itself in a 3-5-2. Very frustrating...
You've got epic subs for a 3-5-2 as well.
I agree, with what we have , we lend ourselves to 3 5 2 .. or 4 3 3
Substantially more than 4 2 3 1 .
Would go with that on Saturday. Need to press Southampton and that won’t happe. With the pace of Matt Crooks. He's not going to change formation !
Forget it....
Carricks already said he's not changing the system !Would go with that on Saturday. Need to press Southampton and that won’t happe. With the pace of Matt Crooks.
I'd agree with all of that4-2-3-1 is an incredible powerful set-up, if at least 2 of the “3” have the energy and discipline to support the defensive unit, and cover for overlapping full-backs (Which we don’t have, currently)
Jones fits this (forward 3) profile.
it also relies on a “10”, who (isn’t supporting defensively) and can hold the ball high up the pitch.
We’re not playing Jones, and don’t have a left sided attacker who can work both With and without the ball. We don’t have a Chuba at 10. All of this exposes our 2 in midfield.
Anyone for SilveraLath for Silvera.
Latte Laff could play deeper.. Morgan Rogers could be all over the place.I said it on the other thread... We don't have the defense minded CMs to play with three at the back.
When it worked under Wilder it relied heavily on Howson playing defensive, and Tav being all over the pitch.
Maybe or you could put him one side and Jones the other and Coburn Central with Rogers behindNot the first to suggest it but if we're sticking with the ridiculous formation I'd give them two a crack as a pairing ....
