It's not dependent on any trade deal. It's just the standard time allowed for non-EU citizens to stay there.

I’ve just educated myself on what is in the price cap and how’s its calculated.

The government pays for nothing. They have nothing to begin with. Anything they do spend has to be taken off taxpayers first
