Last GP of the season

I'm hoping to get to Budapest next year. Still have flights and race tickets from this season 🤞
Great GP but jeez how hot, then sudden downpours. There’s a free bus from the town, forget it sardined in a red hot tin. Get pally with a local taxi and he’ll look after you all weekend and sensible prices. Enjoyed the weekend there.

When I was there in the post race live interviews (not the ones for tv). Several of the drivers went out of their way to comment on how schyte it was, quite controversial I thought. I had full hospitality, including pit lane access and a seat in the main stand bang in line with the start finish line - and it was still ordinary.
Lewis called it boring today too. He's said that a few times this year though.

It’s a shame we have another year of this before we see the new changes implemented in 2022.

As for 2021 I can’t see anything other than a repeat of this season to be honest although at least McLaren will have that merc engine in it.

Was thinking about Hungary for next year but its always a dull race, is it one thats worth going to? Looking at prices you can probably do a weekend in Budapest plus tickets and flights for the same price as 2 silverstone tickets

Budapest is a fantastic city to visit even without the race. We're planning to have a week there flying out of Manchester with Easyjet and renting an Airbnb.

Would agree with all re Hungary. Not the most exciting track but not the worst and it does mean you’re in a Budapest. Great city for a weekend away

We had a fantastic weekend, added a bit of time on to see the city afterwards and it’s a fascinating place. The circuit’s ok, it’s just in a kind of large dust bowl, so the heat gets trapped in, then occasionally a huge thunder cloud drifts through - spices up the racing a bit.
The first day I got to the circuit I went for a pee and everyone in there laughed when a guy walked up to a tap, filled his baseball cap with water and sloshed it on his head, 4 hours later this was the acknowledged cooling technique.
