A trip down memory lane .. enjoy

We've had a number of seasons where its gone to the last game to decide promotion/relegation. I guess if you ran a poll the newcastle and Wolves games of the early 90s would be up there for most memorable .. sadly Hillsborough and Elland Road would be ones to forget

We even saw a final day Premier League title decider which we didnt mind losing on the day to stop the trophy going 40 miles up the A19

Apparently we've played Preston last game of the season before... Bobby Charlton v Jack Charlton.. we won 2v4..

Just looking at the Newcastle game I’ve never noticed before, but slavens first goal defies logic. It looks like it hits the outside of the post bounces away from goal and then spins over the line. Talk about when it’s your day

My Facebook memories this week have reminded me of unsuccessful final-day trips to Rotherham and Watford over the last few years. But I can't be at Preston tomorrow, so fingers crossed for better luck this time.
