Labour reinstates Jeremy Corbyn

Go for it. I definitely wrong on Homosexually I meant 70 years ago.

But to suggest yesterday was better than today is cra p.

The question you should be asking is how will we win without Scotland.

Corbyn and Momentum have sent us back 40 years.

Over 40 years ago Arthur Bottomley had Social Media well before the Tinternet and knew how to use it. He went into The Newcastle House and found out what mattered. He came in our house to ask my mam what the gossip was at the Bingo. I.e he did not surround himself with London clones.

Corbyn could not get it right with all the backers at his disposal.

I see no reference on my part that "Yesterday was better than today" ?
Just to remain focused on the needs of people NOW.
TODAY.
And.... what policies are being proposed by politicians which persuade us - the voting public - that theirs are the right ones to take us forward?

Incidentally - I prefer the word "different" to "better".

I will make it very simple for you .

1) what was the leadership's Brexit position at the last election.

2) why did Labour lose in its heartlands.

3) why couldn't Corbyn count to 9 at a dinner table.

I'll be honest. I liked the brexit position last year. Having an "are u sure?" referendum before the point of no return seemed like a good idea to me. And I liked the policy that Corbyn (if PM) would stay out of it. That would be a sensible thing to adopt for any future referenda. The AV referendum was always doomed because people hated Clegg at the time. The NE Assembly was doomed because people hated Blair at the time. Cameron got away with the Scottish Indy ref, but by 2016 I think people voting against his position was probably enough to tip the scales. If we ever have referenda again, as much as possible the voting should be focused on the issue and not on high profile politicians attached.

Why did Labour lose it's "heartlands"? It's a continuation of a trend going back to Blair sadly. Probably do with not limiting migration after the big EU expansion. How come?

The stuff about Corbyn at a wake? Tbh who cares? Again like I said it's all about a petty little compulsion to see him personally villainised.

The first part makes perfect sense apart that there had been a legal referendum that decided to leave, incidentally the position of Corbyn .

"Why did Labour lose it's "heartlands"?
By failing to promise to honour the Brexit vote, at the behest of Starmer and his ilk.

But they did promise to honour the Brexit vote- all they were asking was do we want to leave with a deal or no deal.
And looking at the way things are turning out, it was only right that they asked that question.

Agreed, but tomorrow is more important than yesterday. At least Starmer has put it to bed, even if he is in a different bed.

I didn't say they were not.

What utterly staggers me is how completely in awe of Corbyn you disciples are. You seem to hang on every word, the latest Scientologists.
I didn't say you said they were not. It is a staggering increase, partially, but only partially, due to increased life expectancy. What is it about recent generations that is causing this?

And I didn't mention Corbyn or anything to do with politics or religious cults.
