I think the message should be that the country should forgive the tory voters. They were lied to and hoodwinked . However I would find it very hard to forgive any one without personal wealth of (and immediate family wealth of ) above say £1m who would vote tory again.
I expect nothing from a Labour Govt in its 1st term . It has too many issues to deal with, stopping the consequences of 14 years of venal nastiness.
What I do expect is a real , transforming manifesto for its 2nd term.
Even with Starmer's pretty limited likely manifesto , for anyone to say "there's no difference " is beyond stupidity.
Can you imagine the message this hideous filth that infests the tory party would take from a Vote of any magnitude, never mind a win.

My Dad once said to me"The Tories look after people who look after themselves" as some kind of endorsement of them a few years ago.
When SSI went under and he lost his job he ranted and raved about Europe etc until I pointed out that Cameron used our veto to stop the EU putting tariffs on cheap Chinese steel, that may or may not have kept SSI going a little longer but I doubt it, I don't think the EU or steel prices had any sway over the situation one way or the other going off what I saw and heard from working with people on the site at the time and Teesport. a LOT of people got screwed over though
