The painkillers prescribed by the hospital last week when I was in A+E have helped. No pain at the moment. But last Monday night I've never experienced pain like it, my brain completely switched off, couldn't concentrate and nearly passed out from the pain. An ambulance ride, two bottles of gas and air and a healthy dose of liquid morphine and I was away with the fairies.Good luck, Randy. Along with gout one of the most painful conditions I endured. You’ll feel so much better
The kicker been I left my headphones at home as I didn't expect to be kept in overnight and operated on first thing in the morning.Best of luck Randy. I've never suffered from them and hope I never will. I trust you have some good music to keep your chin up.
I didn't. After a night's agony the GP gave me some pills which made me **** like a horse. Did the job. Depends on the size of your stones, mind.I and everyone else I've spoken to who actually passed a kidney stone, woke up on the bathroom floor after passing out from the pain.
Same happened to me ages ago.I can imagine what you went through Randy….
Suffered an attack a few years back. Pain was excruciating!! Was driven from doctors office to a busy Emerg where I kept screaming as loud as I could. Triage jumped me front of queue (to shut me up) and delivered the instant jab of morphine relief.
I'm due to have my gallbladder out, the op has been cancelled three times, moved to the Friarage and cancelled once. The agony at times is unbelievable, like Randy i've been rushed to james cook, liquid morphine and laid out in a&e for hours just spaced out. I want it out asap. Pain sits at a steady 5/10 24/7 but then all of a sudden it just hits a 10 and its unreal. Wouldn't wish it on anyone, well, a few people maybe.
