As has everybody. And look what happens to people like Corbyn when he takes the reasonable position of supporting Palestinians to be able to live like human beings. They destroyed that man by accusing him of antisemitism. Starmer then laid the boot in and threw him out of the party.

Isreal is using terrorism and genocide. It just guarantees that there will be yet another generation to continue this conflict.
The west supports Israel - hardly anybody reports what the right wing nutjobs in Netanyahu's government are on record for saying about Palestinians.
Hamas carried out an atrocity that Israel then punishes the entire Gaza strip for. It would be like the US carpet bombing Saudi Arabia in response to 9/11.

Israel demands the right to 'protect itself' - who protects the Palestinians from genocide?

A little far fetched to say that last line. I too have worked in Saudi and found most people appreciate of me being there. Not all however and had a few unprovoked altercations in two years of being there. Once had a car driven straight at me only to swerve at the last minute.

Gonna call you on this, when I read about people saying Muslims hate westerners, are you sure it's not just you? it seems like you are carrying your bias around with you and end up with what you expect from people. I have been to Muslim countries,no issues, played with Turkish guys on a kickaround on Sunday mornings for years, I knew a lad who invited me, been to several.muslim weddings, been a best man at a Algerian mates wedding.
It's so thucking annoying when you read lazzzy chite like the above and you know it's from a bullchite place.

I have been to Israel and worked there for 7 months and tested the friendship of several Muslim friends by doing so, I used to be supportive of Israel , I felt for the Jewish history and maybe it gave them in my reasoning a free pass to exceed what I would find acceptable when it shouldn't have.
and what happened last year with the incursion was awful and in my opinion has been underplayed by people who are opposed to Israel.
However what Israel is doing now is Genocidal, there is no other way to look at it you cannot ignore the suffering in Gaza, West Bank and South Lebanon. They have gone too far, people's lives do matter and just killing and killing and killing makes me fear for the rest of the world if Governments are supportive of it and wont acknowledge the terror of it.

Worked in Tunisia, Egypt, Qatar and the Oman, very closely with the locals in Tunisia and Egypt over years.
I've never experienced any hint of animosity or prejudice from anyone, anywhere.

I found the people to be same as us (well maybe not you) with much the same issues but magnified. Like how to keep a roof over their heads and how to feed their families. And this despite many of them knowing that I was getting paid 20+ x more than them for doing a role with similar responsibility. Not sure that can be said for people in the West.

I made many friends and people I keep in touch with. Was given the best of hospitality and respect and given as much help with anything inside or outside of work that I needed.

I guess it depends how you treat people. Did they 'hate' you because you are, at best, a Bigot?

in my experience, Many Lebanese Christians knew very little about Muslims and the areas they live in.

Didn't have a bad word to say about the UAE, where I've actually paid to go on holiday in the past. However the local Emerati's are in the Minority, with about 9 Million Indians living there & running the country. I actually have a couple of Muslim colleagues here in the Netherlands that I've been out for a beer with, one of whom arrived here via Russia with his Father having been an interpreter when the Russians invaded Afghan. At the end of the day Hamas started this war though. of course no reasonable person wants to see innocent children being slaughtered whatever race or colour they're, but you only have to look at the history of terrorist atrocities around the world in the last 25 years, to see that the vast majority (but not all) were carried out by Muslim Extremists?

The US has dozens of bases in the ME. A couple of UK jets, a boat and a troop of poorly equipped squaddies are irrelevant. UK is just being used and humiliated yet again.
