So why on every occasion he's had the opportunity to put a Muniz, Forss, Watmore or Coburn etc. up top has he chosen to utilise a non technically skilled midfielder with no pace or movement?

Because Muniz & Coburn are not that type of player, he obviously didn't fancy Watnore and he was moved on and he prefers Forss as a wide attacker (and to be fair the stats back that view up).

I think Crooks is a stop gap really. I could be wrong but I think he prefers the type of striker I described.
