Oh dear that’s a shame I will miss her insightful interviewing approach - so is a scotch egg a substantial meal, her snide comments after been given a perfectly reasonable answer. By her book surely she should be fired!

This is a great story, surely untenable position now to be baiting people daily about covid rules.

Went to a second restaurant after 11 o clock and because she was caught now saying she popped in to use the toilet. Hmmm. There was 10 of them and Beth Rigby was part of the group. 4 of them also then went back to hers to continue the party! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

Sky now carrying out an internal investigation.

I watched sKY news earlier and there was no reporting of the Sky News story

It's crazy isn't it how someone who is so involved with this kind of thing on the daily, literally their job to talk about breaking the rules and why it's a bad thing, can then go and break said rules. It's almost as if they think they're above the law or better than it.

Used her common sense, against the rules, got caught, she will face the consequences.
Suspect most have broken some kind of guideline over the past months tho’

Hopefully will give Sky the opportunity to replace her with a decent journalist, who is a bit more balanced.

Visited two different restaurants then had 8 people round her house. Only 'apologised' after Guido Fawkes published the story.

"A perfectly reasonable answer"? I must have missed that one!

It does beggar belief that someone who has berated Government ministers about breaching rules/guidelines would then do the same herself. Stupid is as stupid does, no sympathy for whatever happens to her. Selfish beyond belief.

Used her common sense if you believe her story that she was just going in to use the toilet, odd she didn’t just go back to the restaurant that she’d just left but rather went to a completely different one along with her sky colleagues, if one was distrustful you would think they had gone one elsewhere to continue the party! Hopefully the sky investigation is thorough.

No. Not saying I believe her story at all.
I’m just saying - whatever she did (meal, after drinks etc) she used her version of common sense. Weighed up (at some level) the risk or catching/spreading the virus and getting caught.
Now, has to take the consequences.

Shame - generally she has been pretty good at holding ministers to account. (ignore Scotch Egg)

You could say the same about Dominic Cummings

Yes he did t break them as was confirmed by the police , she definitely has broken them by her own admission.

Yeah, I’d agree with that.
He used his version of common sense too and we have all taken a view based on what he told us - particularly about the eye test story.
I’ve concluded he was a liar and the PM was happy to accept the lie.

He was reasonably confident, at the time, the consequences would be zero for him and his family - so the risk of travel and lying (don’t forget his wife lied in print too) was always going to be worth it.

Now he is out of the PMs protection he could be in for a bit of bother

The hypocrisy in things like this always shines through. Cummings is a pr!ck and should have been sacked at the time. There were also numerous MP's, on all sides of the house, who broke the rules, including Saint Jeremy, but people are generally quite selective about who they are outraged by.

Burley has broken the rules as she thinks she is above them. Hopefully Sky will do the right thing and get rid of her, can't see it though.

She's always been about scoring points and having an axe to grind with whoever she is interviewing. The last year of incompetence has made her job very easy.

This feels a bit like when Sky needed to find a way to get rid of Keys and Gray. Past their sell by date, but wield too much power just to rip up the contract, so muck is raked.

Spot on Piccadilly. KB is an awful woman who has perfected the 2 to 3 word interruption when she has asked someone a question.
These days I look to see if she is on Sky and switch over is she is . I almost prefer ITVs coverage these days.
