I was part of the Royal Navy security team during the Olympics sailing events in Portland Harbour in 2012... I saw Kate from quite a distance on a motor yacht and decided to take a pic on my mobile, no major zoom facility... within seconds I had 2 plain clothed security trying to demand I deleted the pictures... I was in uninform and refused and threatened with arrest.. on what grounds I asked and they gave me a threat and walked off...
I'm no royalist so was only taking mild interest but was treated like I was either a Pap or a spy.. couldn't have actually given a flying fug... I have no doubt that it was not her wish to be treated so reverently though... I don't think she cared that much either...
Next day we were all reminded we were there to do a job, not sight see

It’s also weird how keen some people, Piers Morgan for one, are that it IS them. Even though it’s grainy footage taken on an iPhone by some creepy paparazzi fella of a bloke in a cap who COULD be William (but could also be any bloke of a similar height) and a very underweight Kate Middleton or any other lass with long dark hair.
But yeah, where I do agree with you is that it’s time the palace put it all to bed unless they want all this nonsense to continue!

I don't think people are especially keen that it is them other than it looks like them. If someone showed me that before all the nonsense and asked me who I thought it was, I am pretty sure that's who I'd think it was.
We live in a world where everyones clamming for a conspiracy at all times.
That said, regardless of whether there's something to cover up or not, the Royal Family have had a mare and the longer they don't just clear up the ambiguity, the worse it will be even when they try to.
It's not like they've got history of shady stuff is it?
Baffles me that so many people are exceedingly desperate to apologise for their weirdness.

I think it is them, likely a bit staged managed though. I don’t buy they just jump into the car and go to the shop without security. She is looking painfully thin though

I genuinely wouldn’t have said it was them at all. But that’s just my own perception.
And I don’t think I am in any kind of “apology” camp for them. I wish the palace would just come out and admit that they’ve got another sham marriage on their hands that we all paid for.

Kates sparrow legs dont look healthy at all. Its clearly not natural to be that thin in middle age, I wouldn't be surprised if she has an eati g disorder and osteoporosis

I think the thing that makes me doubt it is the lack of a security pressence in shot, plus I'm not sure it does look like Kate (although I also probably dont believe they've started doing body doubles and the like).
Surely given the speculation over the last few weeks they'd not just be left free to roam round a farm shop in Windsor ?

Yeah, members of the public are just walking round with Kodak disposables these days aren't they. Unheard of for people to be walking around with Super Retina XDR cameras in their pockets literally everywhere they go!
(I know nothing about cameras but you catch my drift).

If I were a reporter, I'd go to the farm shop and ask if they'd seen / spoken to Kate in the last few days. Surely somebody would remember seeing her and William and the Sun / Daily Mail would have no problem getting a quote from somebody to say she looked happy, healthy, was buying a sourdough loaf, etc.
