Karma at work

Anyone remember my thread from a few weeks ago when I had some top banter about people who work in the IT Dept. Being rude, unhelpful, useless etc.

Well anyway….

The trigger for that post was a IT manager being incredibly rude patronising and condescending to me.

Today I come in to find an email from that manager’s manager about a problem approving a rather large expense claim he made.

I took great delight in accidentally permanently deleting the email.

Childish ? Yes.
Unprofessional? Yes.

Yes I know I should have risen above it.

Do I care? No

I bet you've been sitting there with a grin like a Cheshire cat ever since. Winky face.

On another note, if he's IT, won't he be able to recover it?

Ha! he’d have to ask one of his equally useless, rude, condescending colleagues to recover it for him. He’ll be too full of his own self importance to do that.

God moves in mysterious ways doesn’t he?
Nicely done, but Mimecast et al will have this recovered in 5 mins.

Is there any better emotion in life than smug,I think smug is even better than joy and happiness, it's like taking the other two to a different level and yep karma is definitely a bitch.

you should have approved it but ‘accidently’ moved the decimal point so he was paid in pence not pounds.

Or the other way and see if he is honest about the over payment. If not, then you say i a few weeks.. opps my fault.

If you have started a workplace war, I imagine the IT guy can cause you more problems than you can cause him.
And remember - "it wasn't me, someone must have hacked my computer" - very rarely works as a defence.

Haha. I think starting any petty war at work is a terrible thing. You don't like someone, good, they probably don't like you. But we all have jobs to do. You're being to get people you don't get on with. Suck it up buttercup
