Years on from that Champions League final, I've just been reading that his contract only ends this summer.

That guy has really been cast out of the picture. Obviously he'll be earning decent money still, but he's fifth in the selection order! Now would he be worth talking to...

Considering the difference which Randolph made, I'd rather see an investment in a goalkeeper and further loan punts for forwards if money is tight at MFC.
 
Karius has had a few loans since that final and none have worked out, I think the game killed his career really.

Didn't he have concussion IIRC? Whatever happened it must still haunt him!

Jokes aside. Seems to be more Newcastle fans praising him than slating him.

I definitely think he's a massive upgrade. Although I imagine he's on a few quid. Whilst it's not my money. I probably wouldn't blow the budget on him. Then again Spence and one other would sort that out.
 
Darlow has looked solid in the PL for them, can’t remember too many moments like our chuckle brothers (Lumley and Daniels) produce every week.

He did yes.

He's thrown himself into cross fit and personal fitness training over the past couple of years too, he's absolutely shredded now.
