I totally forgot we’d signed this lad I don’t know much about him but I seen he has 3 senior caps for his country Sierra Leone.

19 year of midfielder

Could he be an option?
 
We have him and a couple of other home grown young lads, all will probably see the bench at some stage with us being so light in MF. Could one of them step in and be another Isiah Jones!
 
The club said earlier that they would be streaming U21 games, but I've watched only a couple so far. Conteh is not standing out for me, but it's really hard to judge who might or might not make it. I remember watching a lot of Jed Spence in the U23 highlights before he broke through and he didn't particularly stand out for me either. The coaches who see these kids day in and day out are best placed to judge, so I think we have to trust that they get it right.
 
While I wanted us to get a big athletic destroyer of a midfielder, I did think from the Barnsley game Hackney looked a very similar player to Johnny Howson in how he played the DM role and thought he was MOM. He's also played league football and come through a bit of adversity after his spitting incident, so if nows not the time for him to play a bit, when will be.

He looked crap against Barnsley.

"Come through a bit of adversity" is a funny way of describing rightly being banned for disgusting behaviour.
