I said this weeks ago. I was slated as knowing nothing as supporting a champo side and being a pedo.

Clayton under AK was amazing....along with Grant. You could play Clayton and Leadbitter now and they would do a job tonight.

I’d say it’s the nature of the role. They’re in the team to plug gaps, drop in, cover for people, play easy passes to the creative players etc. It’s about discipline as opposed to entertainment.

Gone are the days of Viera / Keane esq crunching tackles, they’d be sent off after 1/2 tackles.
