Just tested positive for Covid

Had very mild symptoms, cough and a loss of smell and taste luckily double jabbed. Worst part is the isolation, you can clear the garage out so many times and grass won't need cutting in this weather. Tested positive on the Monday, did a lateral on the Wednesday and clear bur still went the course as BB was checking up every other day. Cough has lasted a while and now a sore throat.

Me and mrs both had headaches. Coughs sniffles and sore throat all week, her sister a GP said common cold symptomd could be delta. Tested ourselves at home and went to have pcr test in a car park 2 days ago... both were negative so just probs a cold virus

Thanks for the very kind words everyone, thankfully I only only mild symptoms in the Grand scheme of things, it'll be the boredom that kills me!

Today I feel about the same as yesterday so it's not got any worse and hopefully now it's plateaud things will start getting better.

The bad news is I'll still be doing my beer and music thread though I'll be drinking water or juice. There'll still be plenty of terrible tunes though 👌

Hope you're feeling better soon mate. I had it pre-vaccines - and it's not nice

I got it after having only 1 jab(Pfizer) and the only symptoms I had was a runny nose and some sneezing. Nothing below the head.
My Girlfriend also got it but she had been double jabbed and she was ill for a day or so with headaches and a fever.
We’ve both fully recovered since, vaccines did their job.
 
I've had it since Friday after the kids brought it home. Pretty mild really, was v tired Sun and Monday but was only off work Monday. Had this been a cold I was well enough to have gone to the match on Tuesday. Vaccines definitely seem to take the edge off it. My 13-year old has had it worse, which again beggars belief that they weren't vaccinated earlier.

Like other have said, the worst is the isolation, I usually go for a run most days.
 
No one in our house has had covid yet. We do live in a village and are extremely careful but we have a10 year old at school so you would think we have just been lucky.
 
I had my Pfizer jabs January and March and caught covid at the beginning of July. I thought I only had a very slight summer cold. You could have knocked me down with a feather when I got the result the following day. Had to self isolate for the next 8 days, with me living upstairs and the wife downstairs and separate bedrooms on a night. Mind you, I've never been so well looked after in 33 years of marriage. Your positive WeeGord was getting out of going to see Michael Bolton, mine was watching the West Wing on catch up, really enjoyed it. A few weeks later our next door neighbour caught it, after being double jabbed and had a pretty rough time of it. Hope you're fighting fit in good time WeeGord.
 
Ah man, Mrs WG just got a result from a PCR test and she's positive now too. Only a mild cough so far thankfully, but that Michael Bolton gig is going to seem empty without us!! 😉
