Over the years this was a great board for Middlesbrough , sport and the occasional general patter.But over the last couple years or so
it has been taken over by members with strong left wing views. It is getting confrontational, boring and how the f*ck its got like this is unbelievable its a boro forum, or is it?. I`m not the only one who is utterly sick of the cr@p spouted on this board. I`m out as with others i know until it gets back to a BORO forum.
From a right wing knuckle dragger,illiterate brexitier. Just thought i`d get that in before the insults start.UTB

To be fair it's not uncommon for thread title to give you a big clue as to what the thread's about. Just don't click on the ones you suspect you won't be interested in.
I do agree that some threads suffer from digression and sometimes finish up with two posters going to and fro with pointless arguments. I'd quite like an ignore thread button as well as an ignore poster one but I think that idea's previously been dismissed.

P.s. There are also a number of posts on here where people are looking for advice or support and from what I've seen sometimes the responses can be invaluable, so I suspect some may disagree with you.

Yes I've always had good and well meaning advice when I've asked for information.
Most - more or less all - people on here are well meaning and decent

This is a bit of a confrontational personal statement isnt it?:-

Just wait till an election and those with a right wing bent flood the board.

Unitl then - read the Stags v Valiants football thread and look out for the Forest v Huddersfield one tomorrow.

Why is it only ever those on the right that moan about the volume of political threads?

Also, is it not really obvious why there are so many politics threads? I mean it’s been dominating every news bulletin, newspaper front page, radio chat show etc for years now?! So it’s hardly surprising, given the profound and far reaching impact politics is currently having on our lives and on the future of our country.
Sometimes I think people want to bury their heads and hide from the reality of the consequences of their decisions. The world doesn’t work like that though.
 
Seems like as rainbowsmoggy has been banged up, there is no chance of his right wing propaganda, this is the snapping point for the above poster
 
There is a Boro forum where the views you seem to prefer are more prevalent. However, there are about 25 users, of whom about 3 post (and 90% of the content appears to be about FMTTM) so it would appear that the majority you mention isn’t that much of a majority at all.

Alternatively you could stay, ignore the content you don’t like and, as I said above, start more posts of a Boro nature. Hopefully you do the latter. 👍🏾
