After the friggin Journey I’ve had today, then seeing Silvera ahead of McGree, on the teamsheet yet again, witnessing Jones being hauled off and Sammy The Spud left on ffs, watching alleged strikers just stroke the ball along the ground making life easy for Begovic as they and others have done for other keepers too, bless em….. You certainly got the miserable bit right r00fie1, what gave me away? ☹️

It really does and this is why we continue to struggle.

Carrick needs much better support and development but he also needs better players.
 
I seriously think if Scotty boy had looked on transfermarkt at ratings, values etc for each position needed, threw every player listed for each position in various tombola vessels and then picked out selective names at random he’d have signed a better more capable squad that wasn’t as powderpuff as todays.

I'm pretty sure he will have been involved with said recruitment , he didn't turn up on a Monday morning and say 'ey up lads what are your names then? What position do you play?'
'hang on a minute lads is none of you a right back? Say what you 4 are goalkeepers?!'
Although I'm loving the thought of that happening.

He is consulted, provided with options, personally sourced and suggested by Scotty boy, from his team of elves. Carrick has input, but the quality of the scouting data and research on the list in the first place will be down to Scott of The Anarchic

All the blame can’t be put at his feet tho. Carrick is the one choosing the lineup every week, McGree and Forss are key players and he regularly leaves them out (fair enough Forss was injured today)
 
Unfortunately, the Bolton fans had it right on Tuesday night when they serenaded us with their version of pig bag which ended in F* useless.
 
Aye but the writing was on the wall in the last month of last season. He failed to win games with the team last year. Sorry to say but it’s one dimensional. Teams have figured it out. The recruitment this summer hasn’t helped but he’s a rookie manager with a failed rookie manager as his assistant. Big question is when was Leo phased out of the first team picture.
