So funny seeing him like that in front of a camera looks about 10, on the pitch looks like a 35 veteran striker.He always comes over as a level headed lad.
Absolute bully on the pitch but seems a gentleman off it.

I really hope so but I also hope the fans are patient if and when he does have difficult patches.

Ref was atrocious today, any semi competent ref and Josh has us playing another 20 metres further up and we score a hatful more, he played really well.

Absolute unit. He was a big lad under Warnock and Wilder. Yet definitely 'bulked up' during a year in league 1.
I remember warnock saying he would go up against Sol Bamba in training at not bat an eye lid. He'd give as good as he gets.
He's a point of attack. You can go long and he can hold up play. Also a bit more about him other than 'a big lad'. Decent turn of pace and movement for size and more so age.
To think had we signed someone else he'd be at Plymouth. God knows who we were after? Doubt they would be any better.
A great opportunity for him. Only really him and Latte as actual No9s. It's his shirt to lose.

We asked Coburn to bulk up a bit over the summer with a view to giving him a shot at being our main CF - but he overdid it a bit and injured himself which is why he barely played in pre-season.
I'm chuffed for the lad though, been great the last two games, like Akpom last season he's a real handful and defenders will hate playing against him. I'd love to see Latte Lath playing off him going forward, think those two could build up a solid partnership.

that lad is a doyle.. was a big part of the twitter/social media backlash aimed towards Warnock before he last season had even started.. of course he was singing the praise of Chris Wilder and his obsession with Xgs... he's a Watford fan.. the best thing ever for me was when Chris Wilder went to Watford lol.. this twitter guy was over the moon. great stuff

Dare I say it but the finish was very Kane-esque. No messing about, just pass it into the net.
But then finishing has never been the problem with him. Signs are his all-round game is now at the required level too. If he gets the service and continues to play, he'll hit at least 15 this season, no problem.
