Would you have him back ?

Nope! I think Warnock would love a Jordan Hugill type player as another option. We already have Britt, Akpom and Fletcher to return... I think Rhodes falls into a similar style of player to those threeWould you have him back ?
I actually would have Rhodes back. He never got a good run of games here. His treatment from AK was shocking. Warnock would be the perfect manager to get the best out of him. You don't score the amount of goals he did at Huddersfield and Blackburn unless you have goalscoring ability. I saw enough of him here to see there was a player in there. I actually think the way we play under Warnock would suit his style of play as well. But it would have to be at a good price.Would you have him back ?
I struggle with the notion that a 12 month period at Boro on massive wages somehow crushed the guy's sprirt. Basicvally it was August through to the transfer window in the premier league season that he ddn't play. He scored a few goals in the promotion run in, more so than he'd been doing in the few months prior to his arrival. What tends to get glossed over is how many chances he missed during the run in and how limited he was. Nothing against him, i enjoyed the goals at Bolton in particular, but i could never figure out why he had such a fan club.It was shocking how we treated jordan my first signs things weren’t tight was when karanka “rested” him after he arrived and kept saying he’s not ready yet.
This was just an excuse as he never intended playing him only in a token role.
Watching him warm up by the corner flag in front of the north stand with 5 mins to go as he watched other subs come on in his place week after week bordered on cruel at times.
we totally crushed his confidence.
It wasn't shocking, we had some decent strikers and he didn't prove himself to be any better than the others whilst here. And if a 1 year spell of not playing very often crushed his confidence then you have to question his character. It was shocking how we treated jordan my first signs things weren’t tight was when karanka “rested” him after he arrived and kept saying he’s not ready yet.
