Jonny Vincent made his full debut this day 1971

Although Johnny Vincent had a movie star name over George Smith , George was the better player for Boro ... Johnny was very patchy, George was consistant and a destroyer in the midfield ... very sad the day George left... Johnny spluttered in the game and left after a season under a cloud as mentioned above ... not one of Stans great signings
 
Agree Stan made some great signings but Vincent not one of his best
Probably ran with the ball more than Crossan who looked more to pass but yea good comparison I
