I never understand when people pick their starting 11, and don’t have him in as one of the mf two. Him and Hackney all day every day for me. Our season stuttered when one or both of them were out. Howson a top player for us, still.

I would be buying a replacement in the summer and making him a bit part player.

Think they offer very different things, but it must be obvious that a midfielder to 'replace' Howson is a priority in the summer, regardless of what happens with HH.
