Johnson's scandals- how on earth did he get where he is

“The art of building questions for polls is to get the answer you want, but without it being obvious.”

I agree I believe they do just that. I don't believe they rig the results, just report selectively

The “Art of building questions...” above may seem flippant, but it wasn’t.
I consulted a higher authority, well, my sister in law I asked that exact question, how easy was it?
She replied that it was quite easy.
She was the the Deputy MD UK (finance/political) for one the top five multinational market research companies in the world. Until she left to open her own consultation business.

The polls we see are a lot different from those done privately for organisations. Who are polling frequently, especially political polls

The perfect example of what can be accomplished is the polls on the eve of the Referendum.
It looked like remain were going to win, although numbers tightening....the £ soared.
Out came Falange, not long before the polls closed and more less conceded defeat
Why? Because the much more focused private polling showed a squeaky win for Leave.
So all those with access to that polling shorted the pound. Kerrrrching!!
Anyway that’s the story told by some people.

Ziggy I have no doubt the premise is correct, don't know about the apocraphyl. It's not difficult to phrase a question to get the answer you want. My example about covid passports is a great example of just that.

Laura Kuenssberg, the BBC Political Journalist/Tory Propagandist has, presumably through necessity, written an article addressing the Prime Minister's lying.

According to this journalistic giant, Johnson has a "complicated relationship with the truth" but she can't find any examples of him actually telling lies. So that's alright then.

How inept/blind/owned does a journalist have to be to miss examples of Britain's Biggest Liar in action? I used to trust the BBC.
I’ve just had a look at that offering from Kuensberg and it is utter guff.

She and the BBC should be embarrassed that pile of drivel is on their news website, is she on drugs?

Johnson is just an intelligent and eloquent version of Trump.
Neither has any regard for truthfulness and they'll say anything that will further their own ends. They'll also happily, and without any sense of self-awareness, change their opinion overnight if it helps them out.
While Trump has his own weird sort of charisma, Johnson also has the ability to exploit populism to overcome his actual detachment from the man in the street.
John Oliver did a very good analysis of him a while back.

The context of the " What have the Labour Government done for us since the Second World War ? " is in the local area.
What have the Labour Party ever done for Teesside ?
Answers on the back of the stamp used for the postcard !

Laura Kuenssberg may not have been able to find examples of Johnson lying but plenty of the people he worked for did.

He was sacked from three different jobs for lying or simply making things up.

Johnson's long history of lies

You're just a Tory shill Paarmo. Popping up every now and again at odd times of the day with deflection and distraction.

I haven't googled Shill Borofur but I presume it isn't complimentary .
Have you finished writing on the back of the stamp yet ?
