Johnson's BYOB Party Invitation 🤣

I think he'll brazen it out unless Sue Gray has particularly damning additional evidence.

If this had come out at the time, I think he'd be gone.

Seen remarks like "was talking in the pub with the boys and they don't care about this"

Which, if it had come out back then, wouldn't have been possible for them to meet and yes you would've been bothered.
There was an article in the Gazette about a lockdown party in Grove Hill I think.

This daft bint on BBC News is trying to defend Johnson while saying she's as angry as everyone else is.
She even said he was delivering the vaccines for us at the time and it was a lapse of judgement for him to attend for 25 minutes.
Needless to say I was shouting at the TV while she was spouting shyte.
I think you need to understand the role of people anchoring tv shows. They need to moderate the debate, not just present their own views.

Someone really should have changed their question instead of asking the same question. Once it was established that he was there and he had admitted it and was waiting for the outcome of the inquiry then someone should have asked him why he needs to wait for the results of the inquiry. He was there, he knows exactly what happened so either he knowingly broke the rules or he unknowingly broke them. One of them proves his guilt and the other proves his incompetence.

Noticed that he reckoned it might all be OK because the do was organised by the Civil Service

The person responsible for sending the email party invitation was sent by his PPS, Parliamentary Private Secretary, chosen usually by that minister, the closest working civil servant to the Prime Minister. It’s been pointed out that it would have been almost impossible for Johnson not to know exactly what was going to be happening in the garden.

Its the blatent pish take. And trying to pass it off with an apology.
Trying to pass it off as not being a party.

Just another error of judgement........
We all make them it doesn't matter.......

Bewildering that he's still there.
A damning indictment of the standards set by the man responsible for setting and enforcing those standards.

He's apologised for nothing. Just said that in hindsight he should have handled things differently.
He's still saying that technically it was within the guidelines!!!!

We had a birthday party in our garden on the same day - we could only have 3 of us. Me, my wife and my little girl. If I'd known I could have had invited my work colleagues I would have done. He's an absolute scumbag - in a scumbag political party.

Johnsons face was a picture. He did not know where to look.
Starmer was brill. He has been getting stronger and stronger over the last few months and I fully expect him to trash whoever the next PM is. But has already been said, Johnson is an absolute gift to Labour.

Absolutely pathetic, whenever I think he can't sink any lower in my estimation he manages to pull something out of the bag that does just that, it's not an error of judgement, you pathetic lying twât, that’s 75 in a 70 or parking illegally for 5 minutes whilst you run into to buy a pint of milk…this is a blatant and deliberate disregard for the laws that he himself composed, a carefully calculated to ploy to do what he wanted whilst not giving two toots what everybody else was going through, a two fingered selfish salute to those he had the temerity to applaud on his doorstep, a weaselly circumvention to excuse the inexcusable and vindicate his lifelong self promoted exceptionality and over bloated arrogance.

Johnson is a shame and blight on this country, a pernicious stain of ego, nastiness and incompetence, worse than any Prime Minister we have ever had and will ever have, driven by greed, power lust and venality, let's hope these are the final acts of a political tragedy beyond my worst imagining

Apparently Sky News have been told by Tory MP Simon Hoare that his understanding was the No10 party in question was a “thank you” for Dominic Raab for deputising while the PM was ill and a “welcome back” to Boris Johnson...

I suspect that the party line is starting to break if Tory MPs are dishing this sort of dirt to journos. That's Raab flushed down the dunny with Johnson. Next...
