Johnson to resign shortly it would seem

Although he's resigning as Tory leader I think I heard on the radio earlier that he can, and no doubt will at least try, to remain as PM. FFS just go man, and don't ever show your face again!!

Zahawi made me chuckle this morning though, asking for him to resign. Only 24 hours into the job as chancellor 😂

One thing is for sure, they are all a bunch of self serving money grabbing hypocrites!
 
Reports say he's staying until the autumn with a leadership election taking place in the summer. New leader/PM by the Tory conference.

Zahawi's credibility should be shot. In 24 hours he's shown appalling judgement in backing the lame duck. Put personal ambition first in taking the job (and blackmailed to get it). Realised he'd made a mistake and tried to pivot (unreliable). But still couldn't bring himself to give up his cushy new job and resign, showing himself to be a massive hypocrite.

Actually sounds perfect for what the Tories like in a leader. Might actually have proven himself overqualified if anything.
 
Surely has to be ousted by the Tories, he'll have absolutely no legitimacy as Prime Minister if he tries to hang on for the next few months.

Wouldn't be shocked if he was just trying to ensure he was in power for longer than Theresa May, still needs another 28 days to overtake her.
