I was amazed we let coburn go on loan to rovers given his volatility surely it would be the last place you would send a young professional. I think hes lost the plot now and gone all morrissey no club in the country will want to employ him now hes so full of hatred
 
Newdy I can be bothered to genuinely hate people as I get older, I might rant on here about Leeds etc it's half hearted really, what's the point of hating him, this is the tragedy of his life, he is compelled to **** things up for himself. My job has bought me into contact with people who have very similar behaviours to him, it's destructive for the people around them but even worse his life is just a succession of incidents where in effect he sabotages his own life. He is an adult and on paper he should be able to get a grip but it doesn't work out that way because of whatever his limitations are they just compelling him to do what he does.
Last season reading his comments before and after some Rovers matches was unreal, he doesn't grasp the concept of providing a protective space for his players , his emotions were just out there, he couldn't see what he was doing.

Couldn’t care about his opinion, he’s entitled to it but instead of shrugging his shoulders and accepting that many think he’s wrong he’s doubling down to ensure everyone knows what his opinion is…

He is only being given relevance by people talking about him…. See also Laurence fox..
 
Can't wait for him to get interested in politics, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, Ukraine etc. What a blast that's going to be 😒

Oooohhh......was just going to post he's footballs equivalent to Lawrence Fox. Beat me to it.

They think they are an "alpha male" (🙄🙄) somehow relevant, big players as they have a few similar minded f*ckwits following them on X.

In reality they are are failures at what their chosen professions were, and have sunk into the swamp, only thing they offer is a lot of bollox opinions quickly derided by the sane and sensible.

Absolute chebs the pair of them, not to be taken seriously.
 
He isn’t a nice bloke when you know some of the stuff he’s done but he’s bang on about how useless these are as commentators, surely nobody enjoys watching them. He’s a link to a lad from Boro who spells it out pretty succinctly.

Anything that upsets that 'lad from Boro' is fine by me. If Joey Barton needs to resort to a comparison with serial killers to get his point across then he's not 'bang on' about anything.

He’s dabbled in politics before though, and tries to counterbalance his hate towards women in football by retweeting the likes of Carol Vorderman. Tries to convince people that he has left wing views.

His comments comparing TV pundits to Fred and Rose West were out of order.

However his opinion about how poor and amateurish these new female TV pundits are, is spot on.

There were four stories about his comments in the Daily Mail yesterday, and most readers agree with him about how poor these pundits are.

It's more than just the Daily Mail, its most papers that replied to this news story, Simon Jordan rightly said on Talk Sport that, BBC, ITV and SKY are now appointing talentless broadcasters/pundits and are losing credibility with real football supporters who watch these programmes.

Also what's happened to free speech, Yes, Barton is brainless, and aggressive, but he is entitled to his opinions, same as you are entitled to yours!!! and i'm entitled to mine...
