Middlesbrough are looking to lead the charge for Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna, and have been quick to enquire about a potential double swoop.
Distinct possibility Forest Fire Cooper and the Worrall/Mckenna situation could change, with the new manager wanting them to play.
Early in the season, but they beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge with them both in the team at CB - Worral was captain.
They've now lost 4 in a row, and have just lost 5-0 to Fulham... Something definitely going on behind the scenes in my opinion.
Nottingham Forest banish club captain Joe Worrall from training

What's a "human note"?
Would be a brilliant signing that.Nixon mentions Worrall & Boro again in the Sun
MIDDLESBROUGH are ready to make an initial offer to sign Nottingham Forest’s out-of-favour centre-half Joe Worrall.
Championship side Boro want to sign Worrall on loan and possibly turn that into a full-time deal if they win promotion to the Prem.
Van Den Berg was poor yesterday IMO , not getting stuck in , out of position constantly and not marking his man .Fry was no better .Would be a brilliant signing that.
Van Den Berg and Worrall CB
I think that's a general problem with our defending, but it was quite glaring at times with Fry and Van den Berg (who I like generally). There seemed to be no communication between the two on who was picking up whom. Whenever a Swansea forward got between the pair of them and in on goal they'd look at each other as if to say 'why didn't you pick him up'. They need to talk more.Van Den Berg was poor yesterday IMO , not getting stuck in , out of position constantly and not marking his man .Fry was no better .
Worall and McKenna are up grades on both .

Van Den Berg would work excellent alongside a real leader like Worrall. Fry doesn’t lead sadly.Van Den Berg was poor yesterday IMO , not getting stuck in , out of position constantly and not marking his man .Fry was no better .

Think we miss Lenaghan. He would help the younger players. Need a leader and talker at the back.Fitness levels in all players needs to improve dramatically. Main cause of why they are out of position
Fry probably needs to expand his horizons and if we don’t go up he may well be on to pastures new..Fry puts me in mind of a big dozy farmhand at times. He's capable at this level under a certain style, but we're not playing like that.
VDB looks way better already.

Worrell seems to be the most likely of the two in on loan to replace the injured Lenihan
McNair out of contract at the end of the season will be another concideration.
I agree but there's been too many combinations in that department. What with injuries, suspensions and general lack of form it has been difficult to find a solid partnership.I think that's a general problem with our defending, but it was quite glaring at times with Fry and Van den Berg (who I like generally).
