Good to see a few ex Boro keepers doing well. Aynsley pear’s having a good run at Blackburn currently. He started off well for us under Woodgate but then his inexperience told. The same with Steele - his confidence really went. Ripley was never good enough. A tough position for a young kid is playing keeper. Hope brynn is better managed.

Goalkeeper is a funny position. You thrive on confidence and games played. I’m glad to see Steeley doing well. He’s got every opportunity to push on now and have a very successful career in the premier league.

He’s doing well but as I say the new manager was almost forced into playing him. Let’s see what happens in the summer and if Jason starts next season in goal then fine but I doubt he will.
