Cost Burnley £19 million, the lad is obviously talented, but he is 2nd in conceded goals with 55, only Wes Foderingham is worse with 58. Doesn't this just highlight that sometimes it does a player more damage to throw them in the Premier League when perhaps they're not ready, ideally he should of had another season in the Championship, or played as number 2 for Man City to get some games under his belt but not the pressure of playing week in week out against top opposition who are just going to destroy his confidence. Have to feel for the lad.
 
He’s a keeper for a team getting beaten every week. Of course he’s going to concede loads when the team is second best each game.

Yes he is playing in front of a shaky defence and yes he is inexperienced but he has let in some howlers and looks a bit weak on crosses - and many Burnley fans want Muric back in goal. VK is stubbornly sticking with his £19m investment
 
He had a superb season in league one on loan at Bolton. Then had a decent tournament for the England U21s.

Yet absolutely no idea how a very good season in league 1 makes you a 19mil keeper? Especially at 19. Im stunned they don't play a more experienced keeper.

City have twice pulled a blinder. They have brought in best part of 35 mil for Trafford and Bazunu (after a good season in league one with pompey). I presume also buy back clauses / sell on percentages.

This is a big part of the increasing gap between the big clubs and the rest. They hoover up talent and then manage to sell them on for huge fees even with relatively little experience. Squad sizes need limiting to prevent this happening on the scale it is.
