Just the kind of man we want running the country, on the ale and dropping his trolleys to show the wedding tackle to a drunken baying woman.

hopefully there are a few more episodes to come.

we are in good hands.

Waits for Cooper to turn up and say “yes but a labour MP.... something equally unpleasant “ So there.

Don’t see how getting drunk and dropping your kegs reflects the ability to do your job. If he was at work and did it then fair enough. Presume he wasn’t

Oh well. Defence instead of deflection. Yes I’m sure being on the sex offenders register is perfectly normal for an MP.

I mean, just wow

Your defence of anything Tory is ridiculous Cooper. Sadly, you’re sounding more and more like Smoggy Rainbow every day.

Ha to be fair I’m only messing I haven’t even read the story

I have now and it happened in 2007 before he even entered politics. Christ talk about clutching at straws. Do we just dig around through every mp behaviour prior to politics to be outraged. Do you really believe it has any reflection to perform his job.

I actually thought it was when he was an MP but it’s not. Not sure why he would be on the sex offenders register

Hes even learnt the spin. If a female member of your family was in a Public House 10 years ago and a bloke flashed his **** I suppose it wouldnt bother you if he become your local MP?

I think Cooper might become the first person on my block list. I honestly can’t be bothered with his ridiculous Tory spin and antagonistic approach.

People like him will drag this board down the levels of the previous board unfortunately.

He’s not my local MP and seemingly it hasn’t put his constituents off who voted him in and know him better than me.

I look at things more objectively. I have done things 10 years plus ago which I wouldn’t do now. Does that have any reflection how I perform my role now. No but I’d be in bother if I did it now. If I became an MP I pretty sure stories about my past would surface it doesn’t mean I’m a bad mp because of something I’ve done 13 years ago.

WeeGord don’t give up. I’m actually not trying to wind you up. I was abit at the start of this thread to be honest as ST has already mentioned me but that’s how I honestly see it as above. If you feel that a person past should reflect their future employment (dependent on what that past is of course) you just see it different to me that’s all

I accept that people done stupid things when they are drunk. I’m sure you wouldn’t be so offended at a drunk woman flashing. If he had been flashing in public sober like a pervert (like you are trying to make it sound) I wouldn’t defend him. I think any male who’s lived any form of social life knows the difference between a drunken antic and a perverted public flasher

The article suggests he was egged on by the women. Very different from showing your todger randomly.
It was over 12 years ago, he was drunk, the Tory Party were aware before selection and are happy he’s a changed man.

Thank you. At least some are seeing sense instead of acting like a baying mob. Clearly Some like John hadn't even read the article in the first place given his comments. Then I get criticised.

Anyway seems like some people can see abit of common sense

Listen ere Cooper lad!! I am busy at work and occasionally have to be reactionary without understanding the subject. You do it all the time. Although I have to admit I only read the headline. If I had read the piece I could have said it shows poor judgement of the man rather than the politician. Plus the article said MP, not future MP. I blame the media!!!
