Jacob Young - Look what he's achieved for the area

In fairness, I think I should also add the Labour MPs leaflet that came in with the garbage above. My only issue here is, that Turley is not well liked by a lot of R & C residents and I feel Labour would have been better off putting in a different MP. She will get my vote though.

Correct on both cases but Prisoner, I would also like to know how many millions have the council lost in cuts made by the Conservatives, why are community centres closing, and what's happened to the parks and recreational services that tend to grassed areas.

Some of the pavements near where I live look like they need to be mowed - this is all down to the council prioritising services and being forced to make cuts in others.

Agree with you RE Turner.

A lot of locals I know will not be voting for her, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will still vote for Young.

I expect Reform/Reclaim/Brexit Party, whatever they’re called these days, will get a bigger share of the vote this time around in R&C.

I'm not so sure, especially when the gullible gets a leaflet like that through the door and believes every word. I personally feel Labour has scored an own goal by having Turley as the candidate.

If Anna Turley doesn't win Redcar at the next election, my guess is the Tories will win and we'll have more of the last 14 years, but worse.

"We have secured..."

This is my biggest bugbear with MPs and Councillors - Vickers is just the same in Stockton South. More than often this funding is part of national schemes, primarily based around safety or maintenance that has been in the pipeline for a while.

Turley is/was one of the better MP's.

She was one of the few to put in the hard detailed work on Brexit and actually understood it. Something most other MP's, especially Conservative ones, didn't do. Many still haven't.

She does care about the area and her constituents and most importantly she is intelligent and competent.

Turley could be a ‘Hilary Clinton’ type candidate in that there was only one person the Democrats could put forward against Trump that would lose.

All that is meaningless and will be overlooked if her constituents don't like her.

Total b***ks by an MP yet again. That £40 million was probably already a done deal and most likely a done deal by the Local Council. In reality, Young will have done very little.

He is no different from Dodgy Ben, who also creates an illusion based on other people’s work.
