Jack Grealish to Manchester City

A potential front 4 of Sterling, Grealish Foden and Kane bodes well for not only City but England too. They should smash the league if they sign Grealish and Kane. Although the champions league is the one they really want.

They need to be better than they did in the champions league final but yeah they want CL trophy big time anyway. Good luck to them.

It would be great for England if they do play regularly together, although I'm sure Mahrez, Torres, Jesus, Silva, etc will have something to say about it

And yet struggled to get a game for England in the Euros.
because he was carrying injury and we had multiple players for the positions he plays. Saka and Sancho also had limited time because we are stacked in those positions. That isn't a slur on him or Southgate that he wasn't a nailed on starter.

This would be a great opportunity for him to step his career forward, learn from the master, play in the champs league, and finally cement that England role.

To be fair England got to the final of the European competition they were in. City never. It’s just managers preference, Grealish is a Guardiola player. Southgate seems to like pacy athletic wingers.

Agree he clearly had a niggling injury, but he definitely should've been utilised more. Shaw carried an injury, Maguire came back from injury, Rashford had an injury....Not like we didn't have other players with niggling injuries that didn't play.

As for Sancho & Saka....personally I think Grealish is currently far better than those two in those positions.

Agree it's a good move for him to learn from the best - both players and manager.

Hopefully he goes to that next level and England have no choice but to start him regardless of other players in his position.

Don't deny that. We did very well and exceeding a lot of expectations.

But reading some reports, Pep has signed him to play as a #8, not as a winger (as such) and in that final, Southgate opted for Mount - who quite frankly isn't a patch on Grealish in any attacking sense.

Like I said it’s managers preference. Mount is more dynamic and probably understands tactics more. Grealish is the better too watch and more creative. Mounts a great player but I can’t argue he had a poor final.
