Its Time to Talk About Tom

Can’t believe we haven’t had a thread about Glover before now tbh.

And what do you want people to say anyway? He’s not as good as Dieng and has made two costly mistakes. Everybody knows it. Him and Carrick included. He will be on the bench on Saturday.

We had a brilliant night against Chelsea when we won 1-0. But let's be honest this clown nearly gifted them a goal from a simple catch.

The Sunderland goal was unforgivable and last night his kicking was atrocious. He was ok as a backup for a couple of game. But he is now showing why he is never ever going to be a number 1 in a decent league. Dieng back in v Leicester

2 costly mistakes? Its been a lot more than 2 just go back to Boxing Day at Rotherham away. Just say it, he is not goo enough and hes cost us a lot more than people like to make out.

He had a bad night last night. He didn't cover himself in glory in the Sunderland goal either. But if we go back a few weeks people were saying they were surprised and he was better than they thought when he was filling in for Dieng. It's clear he isn't as good as Dieng but calling him a clown is harsh. You've got to look at where we are as a club. We are currently a midtable Championship side. We are not going to have a top tier backup goalkeeper.

Send him back to the A-League, that's clearly his level.

Nah, to be honest he's made two huge mistakes recently which have cost us points, but when he first came in for Dieng he single handedly kept us in games.

He should be on the bench on Saturday though.

Mistakes highlighted when you are a keeper. Wonder what the thinking behind having Dieng on the bench last night was - one for Rob to ask that press conference @fmttmadmin

He's adequate as a backup, coming in for a little run of 3 or 4 games. more than that and the mistakes add up.

What time is it? It's Seny-time

I'd assume because they don't want to push him too quickly and get a re-occurrence, and because they don't want the club to develop a blame culture by kicking him out on the back of one highly visible mistake
