Thank Crunchie its Friday and all that... bit of a mixed week really. Went to Posh for my first away game in absolutely yonks last weekend and had the pleasure of seeing 4 Boro goals away from home and can't even remember the last time I was there to see that happen. Decent place with friendly home supporters helped in what was an excellent footballing weekend and the away support was absolutely incredible. Followed that up with a disappointment midweek when I feel we beat ourselves rather than Fulham beating us but tomorrow is another day and hopefully a good 3 points at home to 'Ull.

Bucking my trend for ales I think I'll have a couple of these this weekend - only discovered it a few months ago but is a fantastic pint and well worth trying if you've not indulged before.

Now onto a cracking tune to get the weekend started and it has echoes of Boro too - from where we were a few months back I do truly believe in miracles and despite the midweek setback think we can get ourselves a place in the play offs. Oh, and it's also didicated to the one and only Mrs WG too as she'd batter me if I didn't say this song must have be written about her ;)

The weekend has started for me in Whitby. Currently in the Green Dragon taproom enjoying a Grimbergen Dubbel.

I'll be back on Teesside for the game tomorrow.

As I've been to see The Psychedelic Furs a couple of times this week I'm going for this absolute classic from 1984.

Bumface has entered the boozer fellas so watch yourselves. A bloke with a bum for a face walks in to a pub and the barman laughs and asks why the bloke has a bum for a face and the bloke with the bum for a face decks him and tells him that it's a medical condition and nothing to be ridiculed or for people to make jokes about. Let that be a warning to all of you.

Now that we've got that out of the way I'll tell you that I'm starting on the Stella now and listening to a bit of Go Sailor:

Enjoy your Friday chaps.

White wine (don't even know what it is without going and looking at the bottle) and the Toon v Wolves match at the moment. More Tees Cider and maybe some Zappa on me headphones later.

I found some of this in a end of range/stock bin in Asda at £8 with a further 25% off six bottles.
This is a £12.99 - £13.99 in some places so at £6 a bottle it's a steal and better still it is lush!
