It's New Order week

Seen them a few times, always a little surreal for me given what an musical icon they are.

Fantastic nevertheless.

I'm always put off large arena/stadium shows by old/established acts but might have to revise my opinion as everyone I've spoken to who's seen Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Pulp and now New Order this year have only had good things to say about it.

They're not New Order without Hooky in my eyes.

Yeah, the bloke is a pr*ck but his bass playing was like 80% of New Order's "sound"

And i'm a huge JD/New Order fan.
Shame you think that way as Tom Chapman in my opinion is a fabulous bassist and complements the band.

Chapman is a great bassist and fits in well, not disputing that.

"Get Ready" was the last decent NO album for me. "Waiting for The Siren's Call" and "Music Complete" were disappointing.

Okay - Krafty is quite a good song, i'll give you that.

Looking forward to it. Watched some of the clips on YouTube from concerts in Copenhagen and Paris and looks good.
It’ll be the inaugural event of a month to celebrate my 60th 😊

Yes I’m Leeds on Saturday night, looking forward to it

Hopefully it’ll be as good as when I saw them at Heaton Park a couple of years ago

No hooky, no likey.

And that’s a nice little segway to show you the bass guitar I bought off hooky a few years ago
