It’s just a matter of time

Aye, I think we will too. But I would have absolutely no confidence in this team to maintain it or make a decent fist of the play offs if we somehow got there.

Too weak defensively, too weak mentally, too soft and not good enough up-front.

Still think we’re in a decent enough position compared to previous seasons (barring last obviously) but work to do in the summer for sure.
 
Nothing from tonight has made me think we'll be going on a winning run any time soon.

Get Dieng back in the side and play an actual striker and we might manage to score enough goals to make up for our shoddy midfield and slack defending.
 
The spine of the team has to be right. You build from the back. We have the best keeper we've had in years sat on the bench while Glover is making error after error. Glover has done OK overall but he's a backup keeper and nothing more. Their second goal tonight was like something you would see on fifa from Glover. The 1st one was just as bad.

Yeah we played well in possession and moved the ball around and created chances. We know we can do that. It’s been a constant in the Carrick era.

But, we still concede absolutely pathetic goals. We miss chances because we don’t have clinical players.

It’s all good being a good football side but we’re poor at the moment in both boxes, especially defensively.

Until we sort that, I have no confidence of a winning run coming any time soon. Sorry to be negative but I’m so frustrated with it at the moment.
 
playing without a striker is kind of hindering things quite a bit - I’m really quite annoyed that Forss hasn’t been tried there because Greenwood is not the answer
