Is Bausor holding us back ?

Well, when warnock left he said "its a shame Gibson isn't more involved" we've gone through a lot of managers, our current manager seems a little "uncertain", I think there's something wrong somewhere but I don't know if its bausor or not, but he is the highest ranking official at the club.

Warnock is an idiot, who will say whatever is needed to make himself look the good guy. I'd personally check myself if he told me the grass was green.

Perhaps Bausor realized that sooner than others....
 
Not sure where this ‘smug’ title comes from. Mentioned it on here before but when I was at players awards back when Pulis was manager and Traore won all the awards he was absolutely lovely and was speaking to me and my family for ages and even going into detail about some stuff he didn’t have too and was answering questions to me as openly as he can.

He (warnock) is certainly divisive. Who knows, we just seem to have experienced a period of disruption since gibbo took a step back, as before though, we may have turned the corner now

It’s come from the “Constable Savages” of this world - ie those who seem to have an inbuilt prejudice in this case against men in suits but can’t articulate very well why.

Dont bring personal experiences into this, just look at his photo and decide he's smug and responsible for anything that goes wrong at the club based on that.

Hahah, honestly out of everyone there he was the nicest. Sat with us for like 15 mins and had a glass of wine. Can’t have that he’s smug or arrogant, was also a good laugh too

The issues are not operational or even tactical from a business sense, and that appears to be what Bausers remit covers. It's tactical, and that Gibson's remit.

It's a 'logical' leap based on the fact he has a cheesy grin, wears a suit, and doesn't do a huge amount of press, therefore he 'must' be smug. 🤦‍♂️

I'd hate to work in any capacity for Boro, because people with absolutely no idea will slaughter you on a daily basis with zero evidence.

surely that period of disruption comes from the summer of 'smashing the league' and the terrible appointment of Monk. None of that would have been Bauser's decisions. He won't have given Monk the job, and he won't have sanctioned that budget.

We can also go back earlier when Gibson was more hands on and say that the sacking of Southgate to replace with Strachan and a splurge of cash on second rate scottish players was a precursor which was followed by a 'period of disruption'. Again that was Gibsons strategy.

This isn't slating Gibson by the way, I don't blame him for opening the purse strings to try and gain promotion, but when it isn't done in the right way supported by good scouting and accompanied by a poor manager it can have dire consequences lasting several years.

Was Bauser not hired from Dickinson Dees of Newcastle. They are the North East's premier lawyers. He may even have been the guy who handled the contracts previously when at Dicky Dees. I'd assumed therefore he was a lawyer and a dotter of "i's" and a crosser of "ts". You have to get contracts right Lawyers may be nice guys but when in Lawyer mode they have to be precisely that "lawyers"

For a Chief Exec role you have to add the financial wizardry that keeps us out of the Bankrubptcy courts and on the right side of FFP, look after the internal staff roles and renumeration and make sure they are all doing their jobs.

He's a pretty busy guy but the stuff he deals with is not all flash and excitement. He in many ways he is the guy that makes it work as a club and as a business.

I'm sure someone is going to point out that Gibson appears to have some of those roles and some of them he will but you can rest assured that he gets on well with Bauser and delegates the basics to him and it seems to be working.

Is pointing a the finger at Bausor any more than pin sticking?

We must blame someone.
Bausor is someone.
Therefore we must blame him.

This kind of thinking will not see the club improve.
