I know it’s subjective but to do what he has done ( winning Wimbledon ) to win multiple slams including the holy grail, in an era of three of the greatest to ever play the game in Djokovic nadal and feddera.

He must surely be in contention.

To Dominate in a single sport without any mechanical advantage ( bike car or equipment etc).

He could yet add to those slams as well as he’s on fire in Melbourne fight back.

Well thats put the kibosh on this tie break

You'd have to put Steve Redgrave up there.
Possibly, but he’s done it in a team…

not belittling his achievements in anyway…

I suppose that’s what makes it difficult to decide in such a subjective subject..

what makes me think murray is one of the greats is that i
his talent wasn’t natural, he really did work at it and as Jedi said, in a golden moment of three other all time goats…

Probably not Jedi. Dally Thompson springs to mind as does the long jummpy bloke Edwards I think who has held the world record for a while. Then we have coe and overt who habitually broke each others world records.

It's such a broad category is difficult to say. When you have to beat someone else it's difficult to compare eras. If you are competing against a clock or tape measure it's easier to compare. Hence Edwards.

For a while? He is still the world record holder ( triple jump) and has held it for the last 27 years. 60 foot bang on
