Inter Milan troubles

With PSG apparently offering Messi millions on top of the contracts they’ve already thrown around, how are they able to do it and others aren’t?

To be fair it does seem UEFA come after English clubs more ferociously than Spanish, Italian and PSG. Although quite a few have had sanctions against them.

It is almost pointless to try and stop, part of me thinks if a few billionairres want to run clubs at a loss then so be it.

It isn't like one club is doing it and at a massive advantage over other teams , there are probably 15 plus now.

Real and Barca have been bankrupt for about ten years.

I’m surprised PSG haven’t sold mbappe with a yr on his contract especially if messi could be coming in .
If punishment gets enforced these clubs could well start up the super league again wether fans like it or not

Real and Barca have been propped up by dodgy brown envelopes handed under the table by their respective Basque and Madrid government officials for years.
Covid has put a stop to that as these local governments can no longer afford to prop those teams up when they now have to sort their general public's issues out.

Barcelona are not Basques.

I seem to remember Real Madrid selling their old training ground to the local authority for the exact amount of debt they were carrying.

As for Barcelona - if they resigned Messi their wage bill would be 110% of turnover. For a club of that size with the revenues generated it’s negligent management allowing that to happen.
