Inner London accent

As spoken, for example, by Clinton Morrison on Sky ( or Skaay). I understand this way of speaking was created by young people over the last 15 years or so, but have no idea why it was or what it’s based on.

It’s normal for languages and accents to evolve like this, but why is it so beloved by the media? So many continuity announcers and so many advert voice-overs use it. Is it becoming the predominant accent? If so, why is that?

You have issues, address them

I was working with a guy who talked like that last year he openly liked his cannabis I asked him was where he was from and his said brambles farm I was flabbergasted. I mentioned it to my daughter and she said the lads in her secondary school who also like the gear talk like that as well. I have to say it's awful.

Well maybe, but that wouldn’t explain why this accent is so popular, seemingly dominant in the media?

Such an odd thing to say. Please list percentage of said accent vs 'other accents'. Popular = what?. 'the media' 🤣
Oh please behave yourself. You are so intent on trying to find something that isn’t there. Do you look for empirical evidence and anal evidence every time an observation is made, or question asked, out of interest? What exactly are you trying to say?
