Injuries

However, Jones looks back to his best which is totally unexpected at this time so that is very positive. We are stretched at the back though so need Fry or McNair back, or both.
 
None have needed a recent operation usually an operation is needed for long term injuries, so I do take what is said with a bit of pinch of salt.
 
I thought Ramsey tweeted back soon after the Norwich game, so hopefully he isn’t too bad. Fry is a real worry and McNair if he has a tear in his groin (Only going by what someone said about his groin on here) a strain is one thing, a tear something else, hopefully he is back for the play offs.

Think we are looking after Ramsey, he will be back hopefully for the playoffs, Bola is not the answer.

Agreed, Bola is limited, he does his best, but to be fair was bound to be somewhat rusty, it was a case of needs must on the night, Ramsey and McGree were missed.
 
I'm hopeful he's meaning Clarke when we says they won't all be back. Yu would surely hear if someone had gone for an op or were really long term.
 
Upfront I wouldn't be too concerned as long as we can get one of Mgree/Ramsey back as Jones has done enough in the last two games to give me confidence he can play on the RHS. I know Hackney has done well in the LHS role but would prefer one of Mgree/Ramsey in there.
No great concerns with Djiksteel playing RB.
But really want Fry back going into the playoffs. As well as JH did I don't want to be relying on that in the playoffs.
All in all though last night showed the strength in depth we have and as Carrick has said all season the whole squad is important
 
18 days til first leg of play off, 32 days to the final if we get there. As Carrick of 13 years would say, plenty o time ( to get these lads fit )
 
Maddo said before last night‘s game that he thought Fry would have played if it was a do or die game. Can’t be out for the season. Clarke definitely is one of them.
