As amazing a test victory you'll ever see.
Teams don't win in India. Those that do don't win from the position we were in

27,000 in the ground it flashed up. so a decent effort.... just got this from an Indian colleague at the game. A lakh is 100,000. These are big grounds.

An amazing win. Historical.
Let me have my regular mini rant and say it should've been on free to air TV so that the country mcan watch it's representative team
If it was on BBC1 it wouldn’t have been viewed by many more people I don’t suspect. An amazing win. Historical.

Let’s not pretend half the country can’t watch all these channels for “free” anyway. I appreciate some of the oldies are left out, but at least there’s the radio.
7 wickets for 62 runs isn't a bad way to answer your critics and make people look foolish.
I've got to disagree, there are still a lot of people out there without pay to view TV or access to the internet. This will impact on the number who can watch. If it was on BBC1 it wouldn’t have been viewed by many more people I don’t suspect.

I heard one of the Indian commentators say that there were over 100,000 paid entries over the test match.27,000 in the ground it flashed up. so a decent effort
Talksport is unlistenable. The demise of TMS is very sad. I could listen to a TMS rain commentary rather than Talksport. As I couldn't get to a telly for a bit I "listened" to the BBC text commentary in the website, which was still better than Talksport.Listened on Talksport. I know that I am an old git, but awful compared to TMS. All shouty .. and no stories of the Hyderbadi Biryani circa 1983 ....
During the summer when I don't have access to a TV, I listen to TMS for all the cricket and even my wife will join me and she doesn't like cricket.Talksport is unlistenable. Managed to watch the fall of the last three wickets, fantastic effort particular credit to young Hartley after the clobbering he took in the first innings.
I didn't watch a lot of the game but I did feel that in the absence of Kohli, the Indians were more sporting than usual, less gamesmanship maybe? Fair?
I love TMS. I actually prefer TMS when there's no play!During the summer when I don't have access to a TV, I listen to TMS for all the cricket and even my wife will join me and she doesn't like cricket.
