In theory, a Djed Spence Scenario

If he does not sell let him earn a place in the first team like everyone else.
If he puts in second rate performances then he sees out his contract in the reserves.
If he misbehaves fine him when it's warranted.
If he becomes toxic let him train on his own.

I don't think it is. It's absolutely delusional and wishful thinking from some Boro fans to see spence in a Boro shirt by again

A theoretical question "what if we don't manage to sell Spence?" is inevitably going to have to have comparisons made between him and Jones.

I doubt many Boro fans actually want to see him in a Boro shirt again, they want the money.
I know I do.

The apparent bid for Henry might indicate to Spurs that the Spence deal may not be as important to us as was thought.

Your Delusional if you think the club wouldn’t try and integrate a potential £20m player if only until the next window opens and protect their asset

He doesn't want to be here, has a questionable attitude - esp for us - & is reported as being disruptive to the team & squad, wtf would we have that anywhere near our squad..

If not sold for fee we're asking, out on loan for 6 months with view to Jan sale, best for all parties..

* Something we`ve said before: rumour or supposition - but Spurs are not the only team ready to stick in a ticket to buy him. They`ve had their chance - an are beginning to look like the "big I am" they are.

Tottenham Hotspur: Alasdair Gold urges Spurs to sort Djed Spence transfer amid interest from rival clubs

>>>>> Alasdair Gold has warned Tottenham Hotspur to ‘watch out’ for rival clubs coming in for Djed Spence if they delay on the transfer any longer.

For some time now it has looked as though the wingback will be signing for Spurs this summer with The Guardian reporting that a £20m fee had been agreed with Middlesbrough about a month ago.

However, as of yet, no official deal has been finalised and announced. With that in mind, Gold has listen a number of other clubs that have an interest in the player, while urging Tottenham to get the deal done soon or risk losing him. >>>>>>

He hasn't actually done anything negative has he other than want to leave after being sent on loan by the last manager?? Of course you'd reintegrate him. You'd want him to play like he did at forest to keep his value up.
Exactly. The club should be making it public that he’s in Portugal training and that he’s an important part of the group etc. The fact they aren’t only lowers his value and demand, regardless of whether we intend to keep him or not.
