In 2020 the 3 party leaders

haha nothing remarkable about that. You think Eton throw these out like confetti, or that lads from council estates get in on those "King's Scholarships"

Well it’s an academic scholarship so I presume you’ve proof that he didn’t deserve it. In actual fact I know of one boy from a very humble background on such a scholarship at Eton right now.

Yes every organisation is susceptible to such but once again which of the 3 in the original post would you say required those connections to get in?

It’s also worth noting that admissions to Oxford this year saw nigh on 70% from state schools.

I’ve no idea - neither to you?
I‘m commenting because there are those saying they must be bright they got to Oxford.
The two statements don’t go hand in hand

The evidence for the 3 mentioned in the OP is that they went to Oxford on merit.

Is it?
Feel free to elaborate other than ‘good a level results’
The reason I would challenge that evidence - applications to Oxford are always over subscribed.
They sift - on what basis?
There will equally have been many with similar A level results who didn’t make the cut - how would that have been decided?
There is an interview process too - can’t be objectively tested

Now - they may well have earned their place but I’m not convinced you or anyone else can provide compelling evidence that they did.

Well if you think the evidence isn’t sufficient feel free to provide your own evidence.

So you’re challenging me and asking me for proof while providing none of your own? Great strategy that.
Corruption, nepotism, sleaze apart.. do you think the leaders of Lib Dem, Labour & Conservative represent the best this country has to offer. Never mind exceptional do you think any one of them competently represents the values of their party in the best interests of the country?

The OP wasn’t about any of that. You’ve introduced that.

I’m massively biased as I’m a member of one of the parties and I am impressed with one of the leaders and quite content that he’s amongst the best and brightest around.

It is irrelevant where any of them were educated, they are all useless ineffectual leaders. Boris may be intellectually clever, Kier may be ”forensic”, and the other fella apparently hasn’t even been able to smell coffee, but as leaders of so called main stream political parties, clueless, simply clueless.
