As others have said all that Brit wasn’t

refs don’t seem to like him mind
Thought the ref was a lot better with him today in comparison to Fulham. But even then there was a point in the 2nd half where from my seat it looked like he nearly had his shirt pulled off by the defender and the ref gave a free kick to Bristol 😂

There were a few bodies in the way though so I might have had a bad angle.

I tend to have more confidence in a lad when you know they put an honest shift in .

I bet you get more out of him when there’s 2 other decent lads along side him .
I’d be confident he could have an influence in every game he plays in .

It definitely emphasised to me how Britt was stealing a living. He's one of these players who clearly feels has to work twice as hard to compensate for lack of technical ability, which is what you want at this level.

Uche, Uche!

That’s a centre forwards performance. Lost count of the time the defenders were having to pick themselves up off the floor. Got a goal, the header would have been a brilliant goal.

but he held the ball up more in the last two games than Britt and Fletch for the entirety of last season.

love him

He will cause a lot of problems for defences this season. What he lacks in technical ability he more than makes up for with heart, and his physical approach. He is a beast. Love the way he draws in players and holds the ball up. NW knew what he was doing bringing him in! Gibson must be embarrassed about the money we have wasted on players who didnt give a fig and cost a fortune. Times are changing.

This won’t be a popular viewpoint I know, but Britt would’ve been more effective playing alongside the big man.

uche is a great addition, what we’ve been crying out for for ages.

A great display by the team today, Fulham’s result this afternoon illustrates just how good last weeks result was!!

UTB!

Britt annoyed me with his lack of respect towards the fans. He strolled around at times smiling and laughing when missing 'sitters' as if it was all a big joke. Fans pay good money to see players being professional. A disgraceful attitude in my opinion. It wouldn't have been so insulting if he looked like he was making an effort but half the time he couldn't even make the effort to look like he was making the effort.

I did not think he lacked fir technical ability.

Since the thread has become a comparison of him and Britt, I thought he showed control and link up play superior to anything I'd seen from Britt.

I think it's easy to fall into the trap of judging a player by his height: he's 6'3'' so he must be a donkey. I don't think that's true: Viduka would be the ultimate rejection of that, but I don't can't to be accused of comparing the two when I'm not.

However, it's quite possible for a player to have all the physical attributes UI showed today, and have some decent skill.

Another who impressed today, puts in a shift and wins most of his battles, if we can get some players playing off him he will be a right handful.

A bit worrying he can only last 60 minutes though as we don’t look as effective when he goes off.
I think it's more we've got one striker we need to keep him fit for the next one so he can batter them for 60 mimutes to psyically.
Josh Coburns gonna be great but if we're going for playoffs/promotion we need 2/3 seasoned strikers who can contribute 10-15 each

I’ve been massively impressed with him. I didn’t realise how good his control and hold up play was. Obviously he’s not on the same level, but I don’t think we’ve had anyone able to play that role so effectively since Negredo. Tav and Watmore must be itching to get in and around him on a regular basis.
