Just like many of others argued on here last week. He will do for the boro. What a first half performance from him. Love him.
i just sent a text to a season ticket hearts fan about him and his reply was "Big lump of *****"As I’ve said on here before, he was loved at Cambridge, Hearts and Wycombe. He may not be technically brilliant but all heart and effort, we haven’t had that up front for a while.
sounds itFair play to him, he’s looked class today.
Wonderful post Chappy my boyHe was absolutely superb today, still don’t think he was good at Fulham but like I said last week we didn’t help him at all, today we did. We got bodies running off him and near him and he flourished because of that.
Ikpeazu, Jones and Crooks, give them all man of the match for me, all brilliant.
Just shows you don’t have to spend money in this division. Those 3 cost £1m, Fletcher, Britt and Gestede cost just shy of £30m.
Agree with that, I couldn't separate them.Ikpeazu, Jones and Crooks, give them all man of the match for me, all brilliant.
I would argue that he is actually pretty decent with the ball at his feet and holds the ball up pretty well. I was nearer the North Stand so didn't have a good view of his goal but it looked like he took it well. He should have scored from a great cross from Jones in the second half but paradoxically he isn't great in the air. But with the ball on his feet he is very difficult to dislodge and unlike many big guys seems to have a "low centre of gravity" and good close control. I think as much as anything we need to learn how to feed him.He may not be technically brilliant
