If so (and assuming you think other people know/knew this) then you might have a point, otherwise you've well and truly lost the plot.

The joke is being made at YOUR expense - as in YOU, personally, are the target.

Not knowing when the England match kicks off is the subject.

Your carer waking you up too early is the punchline.

The humour is in the idea that you're watching the Croatia/Czech game thinking you're watching England/Scotland.

People needing carers aren't the subject.

You should probably go and look at how jokes work before commenting on other people's lack of humour...

If people needing carers isn't the subject, then why mention it ? Why not say your Mam or Brother woke you up ?
You can dress it up all you like, it's a 'joke' about disability ❌
I really don't mind being the butt of jokes, I give it out, so I'm prepared to take it back. Just didn't expect it to be about disability, that crosses the line.

As Scrote said you’ve completely lost the plot. It is not a joke about disability. Disability is not the subject or butt of the joke. And yes I do ‘say’ my brother would laugh. That’s because I know him pretty well by now abs he would clearly have more understanding of the joke than you evidently do.

You're so wide of the mark here it's frightening, its like making a racist joke and saying my black friend would find it funny. It's disability discrimination pure and simple, stop trying excuse it... ignorance, discrimination or both !!!!
