If you could talk to your teenage self

don’t bother training to be a journalist, it’s boring as **** and you’re going to sack it off before you’re 21.
You’re going to spend your whole life working in semi pro and amateur football and not getting paid for it so study psychology and sports science and get ahead of the curve.

Don't waste your time chasing girls who aren't interested.

It is a total and utter waste of time.
Haha this for me. I’ve ended up with a lass who is way hotter than all of them anyway. And I’d tell my teenage self to tell all those lasses that that will happen. And that if they don’t care, he should tell them to say they’re all just jealous.

But also, “stop listening to Michael Jackson”. It looks like Jordi Chandler IS telling the truth and eventually there’ll be loads more kids coming forward who he has (probably) abused. Give him up now, it’ll be much easier when in 2019 he is outed as a massive paedo ten years after his death. And you won’t find yourself fighting the urge to listen to Wanna Be Startin’ Something every single morning when you’re getting dressed.

Oh and beware of your first proper MD. He is dodgy as **** and hasn’t even told his wife and kids he’s gay.

I have no regrets in life despite having some tough times.I would probably like to have more memories so keep a diary and take more photos.

I wouldn't have listened I needed the rough times to soften me up a bit and make me more accessible to a deeper experience.

I try not to associate with idiots so I would pass on speaking to my younger self. It's bad enough having to put up with myself now, never mind speaking to the arrogant, know it all and angry version of me when I was younger! 😂

As soon as you get a job, put a minimum of 25% of every pay packet into savings. You’ve never had the money, so you won’t miss it, but you’ll be greatful you did it when you get older and your life will be much easier,

The drinks after midnight are never worth it, and the after party is never going to be as good as you think it will be, and you likely won't even remember anything about it anyway.

Invest any spare cash in a global tracker, Every 100 you save will be worth 500 in 20 years or 1000 in 30 years.

30's and 40's isn't "old", you won't "feel" much different. You'll still have plenty of time to have a laugh, don't try and cram it all in through your 20's, as you'll be paying for it for the next 50+ years.
